Jeoma Flores Hofrichter

was born in 1966 in Borna near Leipzig (Germany) under the real name Sven Hofrichter.
Later, due to the reference to the Spanish guitar, it was renamed to the stage name Jeoma Flores.
At the age of 9 he began his classical guitar lessons with Mr. Drotz in Borna.
In 1981 he founded the school band "Schulrock" with Jens Streifling (formerly BAP and now with "Höhner"),
which was later to be renamed P 16.
The band won, among other things, the sponsorship prize
of the Central Council of the FDJ and the 3rd prize
for young talent in 1986 from the publishing house Neues Leben.
The first compositions are created, among others with the title "P 16".
The title "P 16" appears in 1985 on Amiga, the GDR record label,
on the compilation "On the way 4".
Accompanying music studies at the professional music school in Leipzig,
then at the conservatory in Halle/S.
Graduated as a professional musician.
Afterwards private studies of flamenco guitar with Michael Lauer (Musikhochschule Leipzig)
and with Paco Serrano (Cordoba Conservatory)
Courses with Paolo Bellinatti in Brazilian guitar, with Alvaro Pieri (Uruguay)
and Ihsan Tonagül (Musikhochschule Stuttgart) in classical guitar
This was followed by concert performances as a soloist and in a duo,
television appearances on Bayrischer Rundfunk, SWR and Schweizer Fernsehen.
Lectureships at the Welzheim Music School, Melhorn Music School in Schwäbisch Hall
and Schmidinger Music Studio in Oppenweiler.
In 2000 he studied art at the "Freie Kunstakademie" in Schwäbisch Hall.
2005 Postgraduate studies in cultural modeling with Kassandra Becker in Karlsruhe.
2003 release of the solo CD "In a Mellow Mood" with some of his own compositions.
2007 composition commission for "August, August, August" by Pavel Kohout (Theatercircus in Stuttgart);
funded by the Cultural Foundation
Baden-Würtemberg, the city of Stuttgart and the Ministry of Culture and Science
of the Federal Republic of Germany in cooperationwith the Fitz Theater in Stuttgart.
2008 release of the solo CD "Sentimientos"
with interpretations of Spanish and South American composers.
2009 Publication of his own compositions by Verlag Steinbach Talking Books.
2013 Release of the solo CD "Sonidos" with interpretations of mainly Spanish composers.
2016 lectureship for guitar at the VHS in Weimar.
Art exhibitions in Weimar (Germany) and Frigiliana (Spain).
2019 Release of own guitar compositions on SheetMusic.
2021 Release of the CD "Portrait" with own compositions for piano and guitar.
2021 scholarship from the GEMA Foundation for the Promotion of Contemporary Composers.
2022 artist grant from the Ministry of Science, Research and Art Baden-Württemberg.
2022 scholarship holder of the "Deutscher Musikrat" (DMR) to develop new forms
of performance, production and mediation.
